A & L Deseret Aesthetics Med Spa Open House

We were excited to photograph the open house of the A & L Deseret Aesthetics Medical Spa in Mesa Arizona. They just expanded their offices and wanted to showcase some of the fabulous treatments they offer as well as promote their Shun the Sun run event which is to bring awareness to skin cancer. At the open house they demonstrated Spider Vein removal treatments, chemical peels, massage, and more. Some members of our team have even had various treatments done at the spa. We highly recommend their staff and the treatments. It’s a great place to get some work done before a wedding or family photos. Here are a few images from the event …

Three2U

It was a long day … a really long day. But with only one speeding ticket, about a bucket more then necessary sarcasm, and a lot of traveling fun we spanned northern Arizona and hopefully landed a stellar album cover … maybe I shouln’t be blogging this till after it’s selected but Cosette and I had good times and some great results. Here is hoping they are loved by “the band”!

Three 2 U – Studio Shoot

Three guys just groovin’. The studio session was really random. These guys have been making music together for … well lets just say the 1st album they put out was 12 years ago I think. In the studio shoot these guys were cracking jokes, poking fun at each other, bossing each other around and generally having a great time. I made them sing many times not because it made the best photographs but because I could tell it was their element. They were not afraid to sing and laugh. I completely enjoyed this session that in many ways was a battle of artistic minds. We all came together and walked away with great return on our time.

Some of my favorite shots of the session were the individuals. The images showed so many personalities. This last shot was up their in my top favorites. I reserve the right to change my mind on that also …

Arizona Junior Miss

And here it is, the moment you’ve all been waiting for…The 2009 Arizona Junior Miss blog! We love photographing this event each year. The girls are always so much fun and talented, and this year was no exception. It was hard to narrow down my favorite shots to show off, so here is a good variety of the evening. We will post a link in the next day or two to see the full set of pictures. The winner was Alexis Flake, daughter of congressman Jeff Flake, which was a pleasant surprise as can be seen by their reactions captured below. Enjoy!

Direct Buy BBQ

Last Saturday we had the opportunity to put on a BBQ at DirectBuy for the members there. We were able to show off a lot of our new work and albums and share what we love to do with those who wandered by looking for a free hamburger (and all sorts of other delicious items). Somehow, Matt suckered a future bride and groom of ours into helping us bbq and Kurt and Shanna spent the day hanging out with the Still Life Team. Lucky them! We are so grateful they put up with us for those many hours and really enjoyed getting to know them better!
