The lovely Jennifer Starr (my sales and marketing guru!) and I were reflecting over the past year and we decided that Team Still Life really went through a lot in our personal lives that profoundly changed just about all of us. We also were reflecting on Still Life Studios LLC, an entity in itself, that went through some pretty cool experiences that has caused many changes. Still Life found a new home at 138 W. Main St. in Mesa Arizona. We have started some new partnerships with some great new venues (i.e. Anthem Golf and Country Club) as well as continued to strengthen them with our tried and true classic venues (i.e. Regency Garden and Seville Golf and Country Club). Hopefully we will have a new one or two to announce soon too! It was fun to reflect on some of these experiences.
We also talked about the past year and our clientele. We seriously love the people we photograph. Our goal is to have our clients come as guests and leave as family. We have had many brides and grooms leave reviews on wedding wire saying that when everything was over they felt like family, which lets us know that what we are striving for is happening. Recently at the Grand Opening I had one little girl we photograph regularly hanging on my leg and asking to take photos with me in the photo booth and what not. It was awesome! Don’t get me wrong, I don’t love it because it generally creates a huge client loyalty and people come back to us year after year (yeah that certainly is a good thing), but I actually love it because we really enjoy feeling like a part of all of our clients families. It’s a great thing to love, and be loved. Yes, this sounds cheesy but it’s true. 
SO, that leads me to my last point and the whole reason for this post. Thank YOU! We ask our brides and grooms to review us on Wedding Wire. Of course we want 5 stars in all categories and hope all our clients feel comfortable enough to let us know first if they feel we aren’t deserving, but we asked for the reviews putting ourselves out their to the judged! Keep in mind this is our livelihood at stake. We aren’t like some who do this for side cash, this is how we eat! We see a review come in and we hold our breathe hoping that our “family feel” that we were after, was actually felt. Over the last year we received a HUGE jump in the number of our reviews and well … we have been pretty grateful for the kind words. So again thank YOU for the love! We really appreciate it! Because of YOU for the 2nd year in a row, Wedding Wire has given us the Brides Choice Award!
