It’s a small world after all…

On the first day of school Courtney and I sat next to each other, naturally drawn to each other I’m sure, and I saw a gorgeous ring on her finger. I thought to myself, “I wonder if she’ll let me try it on!” but instead I started asking the normal wedding questions, When are you getting married? How did you meet? Who’s your photographer? :) Low and behold, it was Still Life Studios! I was shocked! We bonded immediately and I claimed her as a friend and client. Rheo and Courtney’s wedding day was absolutely unforgettable! Here are just a few of my favorite images from the day…Matt (Wheeler) and I had a great day!

Ah the creative tactics of getting a garter out of a chandelier…

Great light, great location.

There was a beautiful sky to work with the day before the rain hit. We had a great time shooting Tracy and Rob’s wedding and here are a few of my favorites from their day.

Do the hustle …

The day started out with me running from the Garrett’s room back to the Amy’s room back to the Garrett’s room … repeat 5 times. :) I got my workout as well as some really fun times with both the brides party and the grooms. We started out at St. Helen’s Church in Glendale then over to the Glendale Civic Center. It was my first chance to photograph the Civic Center and I thought there was a great variety of Garden and Urban in the area. Garrett and Amy were so relaxed and so easy going and pretty much told me to go with whatever vibe I was after. Here are just a few images from the day …

Oh and this last shot was a little surprise from the groomsmen …

A few notes on some of the vendors I was able to work with … I was able to also work with Ray the DJ for the first time and was very impressed … he is a stud! Also the catering team staff is as always great … Fabulous Food.

May I have the rings please…

Brandon and Chrystal remained very calm even when they realized that one of the rings had been forgotten.  They quickly improvised and no one knew (at least I didn’t) what had really happened.  That was definitely the first time I’ve seen that!  The best part was that they laughed about it after, there’s always something!
