A not so cowardly lion …

Dani let me take this shoot though she was scheduled. I photographed the wedding how ever long ago so I think Andrea and Allen
were up for it. I seriously think this is the perfect age at least for James. The kid laughs at my jokes … or at least stares in wonder. He is pliable, easily happy, and not scared by the black box in front of my face. I loved the textures and colors we were able to grab with him. Such a fun kid! He even did well with the lion outfit. He and I are friends. We are probably going to hang out.

Kilt Etiquette

Andrew and Julie had a great start to their wedding day, with meeting up in a adorable park in phoenix with their bridal party and family. The boys donned traditional kilts and Julie’s brother kept getting friendly advice as to how to sit in one without showing your…ahem..” family jewels” luckily for everyone the men took precaution and prepared for the event of a gusty breeze. for the rest of the day the crowd was laid back, the ceremony perfect, and the reception a real party! Congrats to you both! and Good Luck in the 2012 Olympics Andrew! **even though you already have your gold medal :p**

Playing with shadows

Kurt and Tiffany are a very photogenic couple indeed! With us still getting settled into the new shop they were all for shooting around the downtown mesa area. They had some pretty amazing shots at the Mesa Art Center! just shows you that you can show emotion just with your shadows!

Outgoing to the max

Danielle and I, I think, were actually born from the same personality DNA, and just happened to be separated at birth.  She was outgoing, adorably dramatic (in a great way), and such a ham!  Johnny and Danielle had such a smooth day and I think we were laughing pretty much the entire time.  I’m going to have to be honest and say that my favorite part of the wedding was the ADORABLE ring bearer.  I wanted to take him home he was so cute.  Not only that, he was great at playing it up from the camera (I think he gets it from his aunt…Danielle).  There were so many shots with such personality and I had such a great time with Johnny, Danielle, and their friends and family.  Thanks for letting me be a part of your party!  Here are just a few images from the day…
