Love Story Film from Richelle & Brian’s Wedding ~ Temple in Logan, Utah

I never thought I would be old enough or live long enough to see the day when I would get to give one of my own daughters away in marriage, let alone be there to film the entire event. But it has in fact finally happened to me. And I must say it’s all very surreal. What’s more surreal and maybe borderline awkward was filming all the footage for their ‘Love Story’ video which is the basis for this film. There’s just something seriously wrong with interviewing the happy couple, asking your daughter who will be the first one of them to fall asleep on their Honeymoon night, or asking your future son-in-law (whom I have grown to love like one of my own sons) how it all went down when he asked his future father-in-law for permission to marry his daughter. Too funny.

As for the photography, I want to shout out some very special thanks to Matt for all that was done for us by him and the rest of my Still Life family! Matt took us on a journey to the mountains to personally shoot Richelle and Brian’s engagement pics, and Cosette along with her husband Chris travelled the entire way to Logan, Utah in the northern part of the state to shoot all the photos there at their temple wedding ceremony. We even got to have Nate come and shoot at the Arizona reception. Thanks again guys! Hugs and kisses!!!

Highlights from Travis & Priscilla’s Wedding at Wrigley Mansion

This wedding was shot two years ago to the day. That might seem kind of odd now, but Travis and Priscilla had not asked or paid anyone to shoot video for their wedding, only photography. So I may not be remembering this correctly, but I think I might have begged Matt to come along and shoot their wedding anyway since it was being hosted at the historic Wrigley Mansion, downtown Phoenix. Well as luck would have it, Travis and Priscilla asked if I would proceed to do all the post production for their wedding… so without further ado, here are the highlights from their day.

I must say, I remember not being well prepared for the “epic” monsoon wind and rain storm that forced the ceremony to be moved indoors (thankfully) – not unlike the huge storm we experienced a week ago last Saturday. But love conquers all, especially since we were all greeted with several rainbows as the storm passed, along with some of the most amazing cloud formations and sky settings I have ever witnessed. And I am excited to report that the happy couple are the proud new parents of baby girl Amalee. Congrats to their new family!!!

Kyle & Melissa’s Wedding Highlights

Everyone turned out for Kyle and Melissa’s wedding on one of the coldest and rainiest days of the season which meant the ceremony had to be moved to a more protected site ‘under canopy’. But there was no shortage of warm hearts for this amazingly fun loving and beautiful couple. And I remember being shocked to hear Melissa exclaim that she was warm even with bare arms and shoulders…

Recently experiencing the marriage of my own daughter, my favorite moment of the day was when Melissa had a ‘First Meet’ with her father. It was a supremely poignant moment for any father. Everything was so picture-perfect and dramatic on their wedding day that was hosted by Seville Golf & Country Club. Here are a few moments that highlight the beauty of their wedding.

Wedding Highlights from Chris & Deborah’s Wedding ~ Regency Garden

Every wedding event I’ve filmed at Regency Garden has gone on so amazingly smooth… from all the beautiful settings for photos and filming, the tree and flora-laden garden setting ceremony site and fountains, to the amazing reception hall and very “good eats”, to the engaging DJ’s who make it entertaining and compelling to dance the night away…. Regency knows how to do it just right! And such was the case with Chris and Deborah’s wedding as well. Here are few of the ‘sweetest’ moments from their wedding day set to classic rock by Led Zeppelin.

Elizabeth & Andrew’s Highlights Video

Elizabeth and Andrew are two of the most sweet and innocent people I have come to know. I loved getting to film every minute with them on the day of their First Meet, and I’m sure I can speak for Scott who filmed them on their actual wedding day. Their wedding was at the picturesque Camelback Inn with you-guessed-it, Camelback Mountain for a dramatic backup.
