I never thought I would be old enough or live long enough to see the day when I would get to give one of my own daughters away in marriage, let alone be there to film the entire event. But it has in fact finally happened to me. And I must say it’s all very surreal. What’s more surreal and maybe borderline awkward was filming all the footage for their ‘Love Story’ video which is the basis for this film. There’s just something seriously wrong with interviewing the happy couple, asking your daughter who will be the first one of them to fall asleep on their Honeymoon night, or asking your future son-in-law (whom I have grown to love like one of my own sons) how it all went down when he asked his future father-in-law for permission to marry his daughter. Too funny.
As for the photography, I want to shout out some very special thanks to Matt for all that was done for us by him and the rest of my Still Life family! Matt took us on a journey to the mountains to personally shoot Richelle and Brian’s engagement pics, and Cosette along with her husband Chris travelled the entire way to Logan, Utah in the northern part of the state to shoot all the photos there at their temple wedding ceremony. We even got to have Nate come and shoot at the Arizona reception. Thanks again guys! Hugs and kisses!!!
